16 March - Awakenings at Paget High School in Burton on Trent.

Edge Effect kicked off with some dark ambient drones and stark video images which were 'a poignant appraisal of the current contemporary social situation'. This then grew into a more optimistic and upbeat section to finish off. Fantastic stuff!

Andy Preston pulled of an incredible set using just 2 synths, the music was made up of 3 parts and even the silence in between those parts fitted in with what he was doing.

Our first stop is Sound and Vision at the Post Modern to see and hear Andy Preston’s multi-media psychedelic collage of challenging images and sounds. Edge Effect rides on a train of obscure electronic oscillations and musical noise that's hard to pin down but is compulsive to listen to.
